Tally Ho Inn

The Tally Ho is a lovely place to go for lunch, with a real typical English pub feel and food to go with it. The beer garden is large and perfect for a summer’s day. Inside there’s less space, but it’s rarely impossible to find a table. The food is generally simple but very good, and doesn’t take too long. I love the hot sandwiches. There’s a reasonable selection of drinks and the staff have always been friendly. Easy parking too, being out of the city.

The Tally Ho is a good ‘lunch’ pub as the food is reasonably priced and of good quality. The pub itself is quite small so service is not usually a problem, I have always found the staff friendly and polite.
The beer garden is a nice size and good for kids as it’s quite well guarded from the road.
The pub is quite difficult to get to if you are not driving or do not live local, so I suggest this pub is probably best for families in the summer or anyone looking for lunch rather than a night out.
