An old Falmouth standard. Cosy harbour side location with roaring fireplace in winter.(Well, gas fired coals/logs…health and safety you now!) good selection of local beers and a good no nonsense pub grub menu. Always worth a visit to while away a couple of hours.

Right in the waterfront alongside a little harbour which the outdoor seating overlooks. The inside is a bit dark and as it dates back to 1660 you can imagine Cornish smugglers sitting around. Theres lots of dark wood and furniture. Place is popular and does meals. And there were 7 real ales at time of visit and these were decent and not totally expensive.
