Beautiful landscaped grounds, excellent selection of birds and the restaurant is very good especially with the two for £10. The addition of the farmyard and aquarium helps bolster things to do and see. Ample parking and friendly, approachable staff.

Very pricey for the attraction, £16 for an adult, but I don’t mind paying it so long as all the animals and birds are well looked after. And by the looks of things they absolutely were, some of the cages for the birds could have used some more stimulation, more branches, and things for them to play with, but the enclosures were large and spacious and I saw plenty of staff tending to and caring for the birds and animals on the farm all day. I’d have like the aquarium to be better, it’s no better really than a trip to Pets at Home. And the girl at the till when I bought my tickets didn’t even know what a Lorikeet was when I asked her if there was a feeding time for them. I’m not sure why you’d work at ‘Birdworld’ if you weren’t even slightly interested in birds or were going to take the time to learn a little in anticipation of customer questions. I’d like there to be some more interaction with the birds there, there is only an owl demonstration and a penguin feeding time, it would be nice to have some other animal feeding times as I was totally in love with some of the parrots and of course the Loris. But for a lovely family day out it’s not bad at all. The birds are gorgeous, friendly and all in wonderful condition, clearly well looked after and socialised and happy. If you love learning, there are loads of great facts and interesting things to find out about the place. The best bit was definitely the petting zoo. I love animals, pigs and goats and rabbits and mice. Stroking and cuddling some of these animals made the day totally amazing.

I visited Birdworld with my 18 month old niece and some family. It is quite pricey for what is there. The best bit by far is the farm section– especially at this time of year with all of the babies being born. We went on a Sunday and popped to the garden centre next door for lunch which was definitely a good decision and made it into a full day out. There is also go ape and Alice holt practically opposite so you could really make a full day of activities without really having to go anywhere

Excellent venue with helpful staff. The general husbandry of the birds was excellent with all animals seeming very content & well fed. It was excellent value for money(under £15) for two adults, and it also gave access to two other venues, underwater world and a children’s petting farm(though we ran out of time to see these).
