What has been a solid 4 stars for good coffee, vibe and gan attractive counter of food has just been boosted into the 5 star chamber of my heart with their new courgette and lime cake. Yes, it is too early to eat cake, and yes, I’m glad my partner doesn’t have a Unilocal account so won’t know I’ve already failed at my low-sugar eating plan. but no. I don’t really regret it. Only problem is that I’d already finished my coffee by the time I broke my resolve and gave in to temptation on beautiful brightly coloured platters.
I like that they sell fresh loaves of bread outside too.
I think the recipe for success at this place is to come with a friend so you can try their beautiful looking quiches etc, and share the cake for dessert. It’s a generous portion and I ate every crumb by myself..
