Terrible coffee today, coffee was lumpy and tasted bad. I think the milk was clearly off. I complained and they seemed offended that I complained. They apparently made a new one but it was just as bad! either they used the same milk or they just gave me the same one back! what more can I say, put me off Costa!

Over 6 months ago I visited a coffee shop for the first time ever despite being in/past middle age. This was Costa Coffee at Fleet. Something drew me in as I was passing by(another story), despite slight anxiety of the posh place in a very posh town PLUS being totally ignorant of coffees coming in anything other 2 sorts ie ‘black’ or white’. I now know how to request what I want without unduly confusing the most professional and charming team. I visit mostly every second day so as not to clutter the place unduly as it is always busy. I’m sure the site management would enjoy from a bit of extra room to move around as would the customers who are a bit ‘shoulder to shoulder’ in the existing limited table area. In life we all want more than we can have. Well done to the team for your regular welcome & immaculate service. Submitted July 2010.

Pretty much the same as other Costa outlets — clean, good coffee and a range of cookies, muffins and cakes. What makes this Costa stand out is the friendliness of the staff and table service — no waiting at the collection point like in Starbucks!

Love Costa, I’m in there every Sunday for a mocha which they make perfectly. Costa do the best coffee in Fleet by a mile. OK so sometimes they could be quicker cleaning the tables but it is busy and cramped in there and all things considered I think the staff do a great job. I don’t think it’s expensive, seems pretty reasonable to me. It’s also ideally located for a spot of people watching. The food is delicious, the muffins especially and those Linzer biscuits mmmmmn. The only downside is there isn’t a healthy option to eat, they do have a fruit salad but it’s mega expensive — £2.50 for some slices of apple and some grapes swimming in juice. Yuck!

Gone a bit downhill recently. Too crowded and very messy. The tables are usually littered with crumbs and left over trays. The floors are pretty grubby. The coffee however is good and hot. It was better when the drinks were delivered to the table so you didn’t have to hang around getting in the way of the service area.

Great service and friendly staff who put in alot of effort to make sure you are alright. The coffee is delicious so it is worth a visit. Easy to find in the Hart centre with lots of seating.

Excellent coffee shop right in the shopping centre in Fleet, opposite Waitrose for when you’ve finished your shopping. Good coffee and cakes as well as snacks for lunch.

Costa Coffee in Fleet is much like all the other Costas — only smaller! Its situated in the Hart centre, and gets very busy, especially after school drop off in the morning. The staff change all the time and you barely see the same person twice, but the service is always efficient if not particularly friendly, and the tables are kept clean, and cleared as soon as the customer has gone. As this coffee shop is right on the main walkway round the shopping centre, and surrounded by metal bars you do feel a bit like a zoo animal while you’re drinking your coffee, and for me that isn’t very relaxing!
