We had another excellent meal at the Gurkha Square on February 13th. Great service. Friendly staff and delicious Nepali food.

Loved our meal here.
The food is delicious, and well priced, with perfect portion sizes.
The detail with beautiful bowls, serving spoons and linen napkins/​table cloths is really nice too.
I enjoyed mushrooms cooked in delicious mild spices, with perfectly cooked rice, after a starter of deepfried slices of marinated aubergine, potato and courgette (?). My partner loved his lamb main too (I snuck a wee taste and can confirm that the sauce was divine).
We’ll be back as soon as we can –it’s well worth the short drive to Fleet.

This used to be a foodie jewel and one of my favourite places to eat. About 2 or 3 years ago it changed and now the food is bland, the décor tired and grubby and the place smells of old cooking oil. It’s ok rather than bad, but if you’ve been before when it was great, you will be very disappointed. If you’re looking for good spicy food, you’re better off trying Dhanshiri, We or the Golden Triangle for eat-​in or Chutneys for take-​out. all within 50 meters of here.

This is an absolutely lovey restaurant, the food is delicious and the staff are attentive and helpful.
This is one of my favourite restaurants, I’d never tried Nepalese food before moving to Fleet and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes Indian or Thai food. It’s all cooked freshly and you can really tell from the taste and texture of the food.
The prices are pretty reasonable and if you’re lucky enough to get the window seat on the left it’s like private dining.

I hadn’t been here for some time and have now tried out nearly all the restaurants in Fleet. The Gurkha Square offers excellent food and good value for money. I think it beats its competitors hands down overall. The food is really tasty and although we had a little wait between courses it appeared to have been freshly cooked not just reheated and served. The portion sizes were just right and we managed three courses without feeling uncomfortable. Definitely worth trying if you haven’t done so already.

Good food, Nepalese is kind of a mix between Indian and Chinese with some dishes that have a unique Nepalese flavour.
Restaurant interior has been made with Nepalese artefacts.
You’re recommended to come here to meet the staff who are real characters! I took an American business partner who lives in Sweden and the waiter told us how, when he was in the army, he’d gone to NY on exercises and met and conversed with the King of Sweden!
