Subway

Das Restaurant Subway ist seit Anfang Mai 2009 geschlossen. Nähere Informationen sind mir nicht bekannt. Aber es gibt hier in Folkestone noch Costa, Starbucks, McDonald und Burger King. Es muss also keiner verhungern oder verdursten.

This Subway was the first of our now two Subways in Folkestone. They seem to only employ youngsters to work there. This sometimes means that the service is not always that good and on occasion the staff can be found sitting outside on the chairs smoking and chatting to their friends. The food itself is mediocre. They often don’t have all the ingredients to make certain sandwiches, they also seem to have out of date menus meaning they advertise items they no longer sell. The newer Subway that has just opened does free delivery which means that I have started using them instead. I would suggest if you want a Subway you should go to the newer, larger restaurant opened by the bus station on the Bouverie Place building.
