Great food. We came for breakfast and had a very enjoyable meal. Scrambled eggs are very filling and tasty. Coffee is typically British so I would recommend the tea

Expensive with sporadic and disinterested service. Very busy when we were there, full of people, and dogs with whome I would prefer not to share a café with. Try-hard funky atmosphere with tarzan on the tv and rock and roll memorabilia around the place. Enjoyed the cream tea with massive pot of Assam but I think even for Fowey prices could be better. Disappointed as recommended by a friend who loves it here.

On a visit to Fowey Cornwall with my elderly mother-in-law last week, we popped into Pinky Murphy’s café for well needed refreshments. After my mother-in-law had placed her order I asked the young man serving if I could have a cheese and onion sandwich to which I was told no sorry we are a bit low on bread and we are saving that for customers that might order beans on toast!!! I argued the obvious but we left after 10 minuets totally lost for words and got my cheese and onion sandwich at The Ship Inn a little further down the road. Result it was Cheaper and a lot better service.

Great café, with delicious food, nice atmosphere, and huge fatsac beanbag-esque seats upstairs

A unique ‘must visit’ coffee shop. Décor and amosphere of it’s own, run by Jane. Unfortunately not very big, so try off peak, but don’t be put off there may be room upstairs. Great coffee, exceptional snacks, including interesting breakfasts. I always go when in Fowey, and insist friends go. Service can be on the slow side, but just relax and enjoy it. if you are downstairs, keep an ear open at O’clock
