Old Hall Hotel

I did not stay at the hotel, I am just reviewing the restaurant.
The Old Hall is in a beautiful old building. When you enter through the front door, you are in a small room that feels like a cosy living room. There were some more similar rooms next to this one perfect for either tea or coffee or drinks from the bar. Then there was a restaurant section was proper tables.
This was the perfect location for our family do. We were a party of 21 and seated on a very long table. The room was light and the acoustics were good, allowing for conversations across the large table. It would have been even better if they had not seated another party at the table next to ours — as was promised when we booked the table.
The food was superb. The restaurant had put together a small menu for our group, from which we had chosen our food beforehand. I had a platter of prawns with prawns, tempura and a bit of salad as a starter, pan-​fried breast of chicken cooked with Chinese spices, set on noodles and pak choi and served with hoi sin sauce as a main and strawberry and white chocolate cheesecake served with strawberry sauce and ice cream for dessert. Delicious! The size of the portions was just perfect.

I have been to this hotel to eat twice, I love it.
The last time we were there, there was a wedding party in having the wedding breakfast, I would love to hve my wedding here.
The food is top quality! and the restaurant is nicely presented.
