A small but select school, designated as a Catholic primary. I went there(many mokns ago) and sent my own offspring there. It’s not so much for the Catholic education as for the quality of care and education that I like this school. Originally(back in the late 60’s) a fee-paying private catholic Boarding and Day School, it was run by the nuns of St Catherine’s Convent(now long since dispersed and the grand old Convent Building turned into flats and offices). Nowadays the original ‘extra’ parts to the school — a few mobiles and a gym hall — have been refurbished and expanded almost beyond recognition. The entire school building is now large, spacious, well designed, modern and versatile. It still has it’s own small playground area, and inside retains it’s friendly and caring atmosphere.
