Harpers Fitness Club

Harpers Fitness club, used to be the place to go as was the only one in the town, however since the arrival of the JJB gym this has had a real impact as it just does not compare. The gym is a fair size but lacks a variety of equipment and if it did get busy you would be left waiting for a machine. The staff are helpful and friendly and help to develop plans to fit your needs. There is also a lot of exercise classes run throughout the day which are good fun, however slightly on the expensive side, but good as you dont have to be a member. It also has public swimming baths and despite just being modernised are still very dated and rather unclean. the changing rooms are also now unisex which i think is a real bad idea as when you have infants you have no where to put them whilst you get changed as the playpens are outside the cubicles, but obviously you cant get chage with the doors open for prying men.
