It’s cheap and cheery with a great assortments of flavours. I’m not convinced they have much on offer for the lactose intolerant or the vegans, but for us fans of ice cream they are brilliant. Two large scoops of whatever costs just a few £s and for 50p you can have it smothered in Nutella for the win. Boom — there yer dinner. It can get pretty busy too, but I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes from entering to schlurping my quarry. Oh, and remember it’s cash only!

This is another shop just beside my flat which I’ve never been in. Until last night. Out for a kinda late evening stroll, we had a yen for ice cream — perfect excuse to try this out. Every time I’ve passed it previously, it’s been mega busy. And last night was no exception. They have quite a fair selection of weird and wonderful ice creams and waffley type things — ferrero rocher, cyrly wurly, daim ice creams for example. I decided on a scoop of curly wurly, strawberry cheesecake and mint choc chip. Not the cheapest ice crem I’ve ever had — but well worth it. All of them were awesome — not too creamy, not too icey. And tasted perfect! When you go in, it’s really dark — but by no means dingy. Once you order, you’ll be given a ticket number which is called when your order is ready.
