What can I say? It’s a Boots! It’s obviously not the largest Boots ever but it does the job and has everything that you might need to stock up on such as toothpaste, deodorant, hair/shower/bath products and a limited range of skincare, make up and fragrances. There is a pharmacy too which although I have never used, always seems to be busy. As a beauty lover, it doesn’t cover the range of brands that the Boots in town does so I thought it would be handy to order my stuff online and get it delivered to this particular Boots as it is local to me. The ordering process went pretty smoothly but it was the collection that was a bit of a nightmare. On the past two occasions that I have went to pick up orders, they have struggled to find them and I can’t understand why. Surely it’s not the busiest of branches that is inundated with orders? On these occasions, I have been asked several times to provide the order reference number(even though it was given at the beginning) as they went back and forth trying to find my order — I was even asked if I was sure it was under my name. That left me ridiculously annoyed and in the end, my order always seems to have appeared out of thin air… I really don’t understand how they are operating their collection service at this particular branch. Not a bad Boots for picking up the essentials, but I would recommend using the Click & Collect service at a different branch unless you want to be standing about waiting on someone finding your order for 10⁄15 minutes.

Boots the chemist! The rutherglen branch. Bog standard boots with the usual stuff and plenty of it, you’ve seen the adverts. Heres the problem the pharmacy is useless. They have never once been able to complete my prescription. «come back tommorow!» i need to order that” is the war cry in here. Im not the only one who has had this. Its quite worrying when the staff are sending you to a rival in the mitchell arcade.
