Boudoir

On first glance (and probably the second and third glances too to be honest) Boudoir looks like an old-​lady kind of a shop. In fact, I’ve passed it by many a time, put off by the Granny-​style nighties in the window. However, in the interests of Unilocal,today I took a deep breath and finally went in.
Inside, Boudoir is absolutely packed full of lingerie, hosiery and nightwear. Everywhere you turn you will be greeted by bulging racks and shelves. And you know what? They actually have some nice stuff. Plus, the owner was really friendly and helpful.
Yes, the focus is definitely on the plainer undies, with all sorts of basic bras on sale from just £4.99. They also have a large selection of very big pants, if you’re thinking about doing it Bridget Jones style! They do have a couple of really pretty pieces though, so it’s definitely worth having a bit of a hunt round if you’re after something a little fancier.
They have lots of nightwear, including some really nice cosy dressing gowns (yes, I did fancy one myself). You’ll also find stockings, socks and tights.
