Clinton Cards

I feel like I’m becoming Unilocal’s resident card shop critic!
Nevertheless, I will say that this Clinton Cards doesn’t have a thing on Scribbler or Papyrus, but it’s miles ahead of any Birthdays store I’ve ever entered.
Only a small selection of their cards appeal to me, but there are a couple of brands that I seem to gravitate towards whenever I’m in here. I will say this for them: they can be quite a bit cheaper than the quirkier cards from these newer and more quirky stores.
One thing that has come to bother me greatly about Clinton is that you cannot buy graduation cards during Scottish graduation season for love nor money. For some reason their suppliers don’t listen when they tell them that Scottish universities graduate earlier than English ones, so if you need a card, you’re just kind of stuck. Worse still, they didn’t seem to want to do anything about it.
Other than that, though, they’re not bad and an easy option if you need to pop in and pick up a simple Mother’s Day card for your Granny, or a cheesy Valentine’s greeting for your significant other.
