Ok — this isn’t a business and you won’t get anything out of it. Not even a teapot to use as a plant pot or an ugly ‘country lady’ ornament to horrify your moth with on mother’s day(see Life Charity Shop review). Instead, you have the opportunity to — as cheesy as it sounds — give something back to the community. This is massive metal bin acts as a charity cloths postbox. As you trot along past it on the way to work/the bus/the pub or whatever, you simply pull open it’s drawer and bundle unwanted clothes, blankets, sheets and the like inside. Once the drawer slams shut, the contents are safely kept in here until they magically make their way(in the material or monetary sense) to Yorkhill’s Sick Kid’s Fund. This is the only such charity drop off point I’ve seen in Glasgow and though it doesn’t hold much excitement, I’m very fond of it and happy it’s in my community. If only there were more like it. Go on, it’s for kids.
