Surprisingly great coffee and espresso, and perfectly priced breakfast sandwiches. There’s only a small counter with a couple of stools, otherwise you’ll have to eat your food on the run.

This is pretty much a wee regular breakfast/lunchtime joint for the punters who work in the local area. In addition to a nice wee selection of paninis and what have you, they also sell the regular breakfast rolls, baked potatoes, soup and all the rest. it’s quick, reasonably priced and abut as tasty as you’d expect. Nothing mind blowing and at that, nothing wallet blowing! One thing though. I’m usually of the opinion that most soups sold in cafes are in the main, under seasoned and as a result pretty bland. This place though, seemed on this occasion, to go a little too far the other way. Salt is awesome. A litte too much though and you have yourself gasping for water and fighting off the old heartburn!

Enzo’s don’t keep very late business hours, so you’ll be lucky to see them open beyond mid-afternoon. But if you do manage to catch them in the morning or at lunchtime, they’re the perfect wee takeaway to grab a decent munch on your hour break at work. Along with selling cheap hot drinks, they do a range of tasty sandwiches, made on soft loafs of bread, cheap, healthy soup and awesome baked potatoes. Prices are kept at the low end of the spectrum and you are given very generous portions. The staff are welcoming and look after you, making sure you are suitably well fed before sending you on your merry way. You’re never kept waiting long in the queue no matter how many people are crammed into this small establishment, and food is piping hot. I used to come in here for baked potatoes and the toppings were slammed on to them. If you’re like me and can never have enough cheese on a baked potato, you’ll like this place. I felt very looked after by the ladies who ran this place — they reminded me of the kind dinner ladies we had in primary school who actually cared about how much you had to eat and, like them, the lovely ladies in here make sure you enjoy your lunch.
