George’s Wee Dairy

Nice wee shop, like buying smokes here. Sells everything, all stacked on top of each other.

George was right with two things when he was naming his business — his first name (I assume, at least) and his assessment of size. Whether or not I would class this as a dairy is debatable but two out of three ain’t bad.
Hidden away in a fairly off-​the-​beaten area of a, well, fairly off-​the-​beaten area, George’s is a handy Maryhill grocery shop stocking everything you would expect and a little bit more.
As well as the usual mini-​market fare, the business is licensed and offers a decent range of meat and, more importantly, some proper, homemade filled rolls, an all too rare commodity in the corner shops of today.
