A new pop up beer shop/pub is certainly always going to get my attention. So today we ventured over to GG to check out what was on offer. It’s in the part of west on the corner that ain’t been renovated yet. They are renting it to the dude behind GG until the end of the year. It is basically a building site. With holes in the roof, mdf everywhere and a mish mash of old tiny plastic chairs and retro refurbished designer wooden furniture. When we were in it was pretty empty, but the guy was friendly enough and he was playing some old school NWA so we decided to stay for a couple of beers. I went with Buxton IPA and it tasted very good. You can buy craft beers to take away, bottles, cans or get your growler filled… If that is your thing. For me for the full two litres and the growler itself I think 20 quid is a bit pricey and I decided to give it a miss. Decent idea and I would go again, but there is plenty of places doing craft beers in Glasgow these days. So not particularly groundbreaking in my opinion. Still worth a look if your passing.

Awe I think this might be the greatest pop-up yet! Popping up on the yet to be renovated section of west on the corner or as I like to call it wee west! Set up with spot lights, cool hand made wooden furniture that you can purchase. the bar set up as a off license(for permit reasons I suspect) only had the option of only 4 draughts. Labeled #1 — #4. No 1was the lager number 2 was buxton American IPA and no 4 was a wild brewery pale ale. 4 beers and a tape deck this place is a super little pop up. You have the option to buy a growler and fill this up. This will cost you aprox 20bucks as the growler is 2ltr. Opened until Jan — get down to west on the corner and try a some craft beer!
