Most trains in Glasgow roll through this station so it is easy to get anywhere. But, don’t expect anything fancy like central station… one platform, no shops, tunnels and stairs to get to the platform, and no lift. The station people are nice, and there is only one ticket window and one ticket kiosk. Whatever you do, do not drink the coffee from the coffee stand on the platform. It doesn’t even come with a proper sipping lid so it spills everywhere, and it tastes absolutely wretched.

And now the station has a great wee kiosk with food and warm drinks though sadly not open all the time

This station carries the Argyle line and the North Clyde line traffic both to and from Glasgow city centre. The station is small but can be accessed from 3 different points — Hyndland, Broomhill and Gartnavel Hospital. The station has a small waiting room, but is primarily an open platform. The entrances are covered and have steps with no wheelchair access. The station staff are friendly and corteous and there is usually a Metro to pick up on weekdays.
