Well, there’s not much to say about this station really. It’s not going to win any awards for aesthetics or facilities. However if there was an award going for handiest resource for Jordanhill residents, it’d probably make the top three. Two platforms, a ticket machine(no counter) and a little sheltered area, it’s OK and offers four services an hour to Dalmuir and the same to Glasgow, going on to Motherwell and Springburn. Most importantly, the area is safe given its close proximity to Crow Road. It’s not completely dull; I once recall a local paper reporting that an article for Wikipedia on the station was the 1,000,000th English entry on the website. I guess every dog has its day.
