Popped in here this afternoon for a lunch/​coffee with Mr A.
Given that it’s a few streets over from Sauchiehall St, it was fairly quiet. The café itself was really modern and clean — not so keen on the chalkboard notice which gave off the totally wrong message.
The woman serving was awesome — really friendly and helpful. We decided on baked potatoes and coffee. Mine was super — nice and hot and the tuna mayonnaise was perfect. Latte was nice and strong — and accompanied by lots of caffeine jokes! Overall menu tends towards soup/​sandwiches — all made in front of you.
So, lunch for 2 came to a tenner. A great cheap and very tasty lunch. I’ll be back soon for more!
