not bad but a lot of the 90’s alterations made the facilities a lot poorer

If you don’t have a car then getting to the Leasuredrome in Bishopbriggs is a little bit of a walk from the nearest bus stops as it’s situated beside the Forth and Clyde Canal. The closest bus is the 88 which goes from Glasgow and even then it’s a ten or fifteen minute walk to the front doors of the centre. Once you’re there it ticks all right boxes for a sports centre and facilities include: a main pool, a kiddies teaching pool, a flume slide thing, a Turkish bath and sauna, sports halls, fitness studio, squash court, gym, outdoor floodlit football pitches, birthday party room and meeting room. There’s pretty much everything you need for a community leisure centre — well worth a visit!

This is an ok Leisure Centre. I’ve used the pool area and the childrens soft play area. The pool area is good for kids as there are two small baby pools and a flume for older children. The changing rooms are quite clean and there are several family changing cublicles, but expect to have to wait for one to be free. The family cubicles are quite cramped inside. The childrens soft play area is called Charlie’s Big Adventure and this is a good play area. There are separate areas for babies and toddlers and older children. Both are big enough to keep kids entretained for a while. At peak times you are restricted to an hour. The only thing missing is a café in the soft play as you have to purchase coffee from the café downstairs and then carry it up to the soft play.
