Levi’s is a store I have often over-looked, for it’s higher-priced but seemingly quite«generic» fashion. But I take it back. I hadn’t delved deep enough into their store, or actually set foot in it, before that snap judgement. I set out with a mission to go into Levi’s and look at their new ‘curve’ range of jeans that they’ve just launched. From small, midi, to large curve these jeans are supposed to fit and flatter every type of female form and their behinds. As wonderful as it is being unique sometimes, it also means there wasn’t a jean to fit my derrière. Yes I’m short, yes I have skinny legs, but yes I have wide hip bones. Should I just start up my own brand of jen-eration jeans?! Anyway, that aside, this store was actually very enjoyable to shop in. I approached a shop assistant to ask for help, she was happy to give her time, and managed to help both myself and another girl at the same time without neglecting either of us. She asked if I was ok a few times, got me different sizes, but didn’t push it when they didn’t fit. I also then had another browse and came across quite a few very nice items, especially the funky Levi pants and wallets. I went in looking for jeans, and came out with a very cosy looking hoodie(perfect for winter) — testament to a well-laid out and managed store that put me at ease, was enjoyable to browse, and made me feel just a bit special enough to treat myself.
