L&J’s has had quite an extensive rearrange since I last visited. It caters mainly to gay men — but I’m sure most folks would be able to find something fun to try out. Stockwise, you’ll find everything from pleasure enhancing lubricants to s&m equipment. Not to mention the rubber Superman pants ;) The staff were pleasant and helpful.

For the Gallery space downstairs… Never been here before. Never knew it existed. Now I do. Now I’ll be back. So what’s the beef? I popped along here the other night for a free burlesque showcase hosted by the illustrious(all in good time) KIm Khaos. Of course the performers were the stars of the show, but it also allowed me to have a nosey at a nice wee gallery that surely has potential to host events for any number of occasions. Worth keeping an eye on for forthcoming events, potential venue and other random cool thangs.

Luke & Jack is a great vibrant addition to Glasgow’s Gay Scene and it is very much welcomed by the community. The friendly staff are very welcoming and are happy to show you the latest products, demonstrate some of them and chat away about recommendations etc. The Virginia Gallery is an awesome addition which has been thriving and busy with some amazing exhibitions. It’s fast becoming a real community venue, and it’s down to the amazing staff for their forward thinking vision! Really, you should check this out!
