Malinda’s Hairdressers

Malinda’s is a no frills, old fashioned hair salon at the George’s Cross end of Great Western Road.
I used to come and get my hair cut here as a kid and it still seems popular for parents who check in to get their child’s hair trimmed.
For trims and simple snips it’s great since it’s very affordable. But for something more complicated, I’d be willing to spend a little more to go to a salon in town. It’s not that the ladies who work here can’t do anything trendy or complicated — they are more than capable — but it tends to cater more to an older crowd generally.
If you’re looking for an affordable perm or to get your fringe trimmed then it’s good for that kind of thing. The staff are friendly and it’s an old fashioned kinda hair salon which hasn’t changed much over the years. That includes the prices however, so you might find yourself saving big bucks if you decide to go here.
