Sometimes you need a McDonalds. It’s a fact of life. I wish I was a better person, but when I get the word«cheeseburger» in my brain, and I’m hungry, sometimes I can’t resist. This happened today. I’d driven back from Pitlochry and decided a cheeseburger was the way to go. I’ve been to this McD before so you’d think that I’d know how to get into it but again, I made the same mistake of driving up Ruchill Street. The entrance to this McDonalds is NOT off Ruchill Street, even though it looks like it is. Instead, head up Shakespeare Street and you can get into the entrance from there. Where the exact entrance is, I still don’t know as I drove in the exit(again) as that looks like the entrance. The drive through is small and annoying to navigate. The cheeseburger was good though, so all the faff of trying to get in was worth it. If they had better signage, I’d upgrade this review. And I still can’t wash off the self loathing.

This is another quite good branch of Micky D’s, or as the French yoof say, MacDo. I don’t think I have ever had to wait for an order here, suggesting that they have more than a few brain cells to rub together inside, and despite it being in a good location, it has never been that busy, but maybe that’s because I was going at strange times of day. Inside it is clean-ish and ok. I haven’t been to the tiolets here, so can’t comment on them. The drive thru seems to work very efficiently, and there is plenty of parking. The only issue I have with this one is that if you want to turn right onto Maryhill Rd after you have been in here, it is something of a trauma for the nervous driver!
