Cracking wee pub on Gallowgate near Glasgow Cross. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Drinks are very reasonably priced and the lounge part offers karaōke at weekends. Don’t know what the previous reviewer means by ‘down to earth people’ — it’s not exactly a cocktail bar ‘per se’ although I reckon they would have no problem rustling him up a ‘stiff one’ if that was what he was after. Not a place for the faint hearted, if you do visit and are feeling a wee bit apprehensive it’s best to avoid eye contact with anyone (even the bar staff) and if challenged by any locals then present your rear end pronto. Get a visit to this wee gem on your ‘bucket list’.
