The staff in Molton Brown are amazing, they are knowledgeable of their products and really aim to accommodate your needs. The shop itself it gorgeous, very minimal designer chic. The sink stands they have were amazing, and they encourage customers to come in and try their products at the sinks, although this apparently doesn’t happen very often. For me, the style and overall expense of the shop and products mean it’s not somewhere I would usually shop. However, having tried their products I can see why they are expensive and why they have such a loyal customer base.

I volunteered to help some of Molton Brown’s new staff to practice the hand and arm massages that they offer to customers. These allow you to fet a sense of how their products work and give them a proper test run. My whole experience at Molton Brown was utterly luxurious; the shop itself is spacious, clean and chic and the staff pay great attention to detail, friendly but not overly pushy or sales-driven. The shop feels like a lovely relaxing haven on the busy Buchanan Street. I was testing products from their new Heavenly Gingerlily collection, made with gingerlily and Tahitian sand, designed to evoke the feel of exotic shores. Well poor wee me has never been to Tahiti but I did feel completely transported! My skin felt beautifully smooth and smelt amazing afterwards. Although I didn’t buy from the Gingerlily range, I did pick up some treats from their signature Pink Pepperpod range and I think I’ll be back for the Gingerlily range soon! I really enjoyed my experience in Molton Brown, a much more relaxed shopping experience than the usual hustle and bustle in the city centre!

Very friendly staff, extremely nice and quality products for both men and women. I always get personal service and friendly greetings from the MB staff when I go in to top up on my shower gel and travel kits. Oh, and they always know to help when gift-shopping for Christmas and birthdays for my friends & family. Yeah, Molton Brown stuff isn’t exactly budget but I find their products last longer and feel much better than mass-produced products available in the likes of boots or semi-chem; you really do get what you’ve paid for! Brilliant!

Molton Brown products are delicious, they smell amazing and are great quality, well, you should hope so going by the prices. My mum really likes Molton Brown and usually gets their hand wash and moisturiser which I usually steal if my hands get a bit dry. It’s great for when it comes to birthday, Christmas and Mothers Day too as this is usually a one stop for everything, they even do the wrapping too. To be honest, you wouldn’t need to wrap the stuff here as the packaging it comes it looks beautiful as it is. Rather expensive but definitely worth it if you’re looking for a pretty gift for someone.

Ooooooh. That was my reaction when I entered this shop. This place is nice. It smells divine, looks smart and just feels fab-u-lous! Since my aunt first tried Molton Brown products at a swanky hotel, the females in my family have been hooked. They all now seem to have a collection of handwashes, hand lotions, shower gels, etc etc. I’m not sure what it is that makes the products quite so special but shopping here is a lovely experience. Browsing is relaxing and the till point is a far cry from the rushed and unfriendly counters so frequent at this time of year. The girl who served me spent time wrapping my gift in tissue, placing it in a lovely gift bag and popping in a wee sample too. Luxurious :)

When I saw that a Molton Brown shop had opened on Buchannan Street my first thought was ‘that’s a couple of Christmas presents sorted then’. I don’t really get what the big deal is about Molton Brown. It’s soap. Fancy soap yeh, but it’s still just soap. I never understood why my female relatives seem to love the stuff so much. Soap scepticism aside however, I was quite impressed with the shop when I ventured in. It’s not just soap, but lotions, scented candles, hair care, travel kits and products especially for ‘male grooming’. They’ve also got a selection of festive gift sets to make your job of choosing the perfect Christmas present even easier.
