Situated in bath street just a few minutes walk from sauchihall street, you will find the Oasis café hidden away behind the church. There is no big sign saying café open or anything noticeable to tell you it’s there. Inside it is always busy the café provides home cooked traditional foods from soups, sandwiches, jacket potatoes & main meals many of them under £5.00. You can buy tea/coffee and a cake or biscuit for under £3, they provide catering for the main meeting rooms buffets or even main meals in their function rooms. There is artwork on the walls in the Oasis made by amateur artists that they sell on behalf of, works range from oils, water colours, photography to needle work. There are several function rooms for hire and regularly used with events such as art club, various charity’s, therapy sessions to indoor bowling. At the Renfield centre they have a shelter for the homeless people for twelve weeks of the year providing a warm, safe and welcoming environment to the homeless over the coldest weeks of the year.
