One of the many charity shops on Duke Street, PDSA is a pokey wee shop filled with shelves piled high with dusty old videos, trinkets, books and games. There is a small selection of clothing, however I have rarely found anything of interest to me in the fashion department here, however it’s always worth a rummage in case there are any wee hidden gems. What’s good about this shop is their small items of furniture and homeware, including a great wee set I bought that included a pine bathroom cabinet, towel rail and corner shelf for only a fiver! I cleaned it up and painted it pretty and white… good as new at a pretty price indeed.

A smallish charity shop on Duke Street, PDSA doesn’t really have much in the way of clothes. It has a massive book, cd and DVD collection though, cheaper than renting out of Blockbuster or somewhere, and you can obviously keep it if you like it. They sell little PDSA calendars with dogs and cats on them, as well as diaries and even per gifts, for the animal lovers in the house.
