I do have a soft spot for this train station. Apart from using it a far bit when I was in, and around the Shawlands area more; my brother has used it an awful lot over the years for various jobs. As he points out — this has an impressive view of the city, especially from a train station. However, it is also a view of some of the more urban areas from the city, which means that you can play ‘count the high rise flats’ while you wait on your train. It also has two entrances and/or exits and one of these does happen to be particularly ill lit later on in the evening. Therefore, I would urge you to use caution if utilising this train station later on. Though, over all it’s not a bad train station and does offer needed public transport. Certainly, if you are living in Glasgow for some time or travelling due to work, it’s likely that you’ll come across here at some point.
