If you are going to buy something of Rangers orientation then this is your place! You would like something blu and white and even with a bear on it, you can get it here. I did end up buting a brick actually, this is a brick in the stadium wall that means my grandpa should be a very happy man. I, for my little cousin, bought my grandpa a spot in Ibrox, so his name will be proudly chiseled into a stone. Not something that would float everyones boat but something a die hard fan would probably like. The only thing is that it takes a few months before they get round to doing it and you can go see it. Appart from my as yet intangible brick, you can buy strips, baby clothes, wannabe kind of fashionable things, and loads of bits and bobs.

Never been to a football match in my life. A masculine rite of passage that I missed out on, voluntarily. On wee tube round on match day, I ended up in here somehow. On the same breath as I took before I stepped in, an employee greeted me asking if he could help. A wee bit too much for me. It wasn’t as though it wasn’t busy and he was delighted to see anyone, it must just be how they do things. The strips inside were not as expensive as I remembered them being when I was younger, and they also had the Rangers tartan in here along with footballs, alarm clocks and EVERYTHING you could imagine really. Clean and spacious and very very blue. I expect they make a fortune in here after a home win. They operate an interesting door policy whereby once in. THEREISNOESCAPE. Well, you can leave, but from a different door than the one you came in. Sneaky.

At the ripe old age of 22, i attended my first football game last week. I was a little hesitant at first, evisaging being trampled by over exited burley men and cheering by accident when the other team scored. Thankfully, none of the above happened and i enjoyed my football experience even though my booty was frozen to the seat by the end. We decided to pop into the Megastore which is located in Ibrox Stadium, to have a look around and try to find a replacement football for my dog, who burst his beloved ball and has mourned for it ever since. The store is, well, mega. It’s huge inside, and houses all the Rangers memorabilia and clothing you could ever want. It even has bibs and dummies for the toddler fan, as well as books, jewellery and collectors items which can be pricey. It is all very commercialised but then, it would be. I noticed that almost every person that entered at the same time as us left with a bag of goodies, as did we. I imagine that on a big match day this place is jumping, but there were plenty of staff to attend to us, maybe slightly more than necessary. It’s the perfect stop for a present for an avid football fan. And yes, my dog loved his replacement ball!
