Its a pretty small shop, being a garage shop obviously but it has what you need! The prices are a little higher than average as usual with the smaller shops but nothing outrageous. Anyway, I came on here to mention customer service rather than the contents of the store. I experienced quite possibly the worst customer service I’ve ever had here this evening! When waiting on being served the checkout staff were talking across to each other. It was about something to do with a till being down and it sounded fairly important, but it still looked rude and I really hate when staff do that. Secondly the staff member that served us was AWFUL. She didn’t say hi or greet us in any way, she had a horribly grumpy face on, she just said ‘bag’ and ‘£3′ …none of which where in a sentence or with any eye contact. We then walked away, gave each other a bit of a ‘she was rude’ look but it wasn’t exactly noticeable, we then heard her say«is there a problem?!» in the rudest manner possible… we were just so shocked and just said«um… no.?» And left raging. Very disappointed with this service!

This Sainsburys is very handy if you need to pick up a handful of items but don’t try to do a weekly food shop! It is more expensive, but no more so than any other shop of this nature. Being 24hrs is great as I have been down here in the wee hours when only Gaviscon would save the day and let me get some sleep!!! Reduced items can often be found and the fruit and veg is usually of good quality. Oh, they do a great range of petroleum also!

I like the convenience of this shop being open 24hrs but the prices for fruit, vegetables etc. is definitely higher than normal sized store. The do a great range of the £3 meal deal(sandwich, drink and crisps or snack) if you are in a hurry although I prefer West End café across the street for freshly made sandwiches. One thing to keep an eye out for is reduced bargains! The store doesn’t have a reduced aisle, so things are usually just marked down and left where they would normally be. They seem to always have things reduced so I’m guessing not many people do a proper food shop here.

Dear oh dear… I was in this branch about a month ago and have not had a chance to air my views. I was very disappointed to see that an absolute imbecile has slipped through Sainsbury’s HR. Myself and another four or five customers had queued for a till with a sign saying«petrol and up to 4 items», or something along those lines. What is not made very clear by this sign is that it has to be petrol and the items combined. This is fair play, but obviously very ambiguous, as each of us in line only had a small number of items, and took this as meaning it was a type of express lane. This is still ok. The manner with which the member of staff(a grumpy, middle aged chap with all the grace of a log) dealt with the situation was unbelievable. Cursing and swearing under his breath at our inability to translate the said ambiguous sign, he proclaimed to us all that«this is ridiculous». When I confronted him in friendly manner to explain why there was a problem, he completely ignored me and pretended I hadn’t said anything. Poor show Sainsbury’s. Where did you get this silver haired cretin? PS. My mate had been in earlier and had a similar experience. There is no excuse for bad customer service.

Open 24 hours with petrol and a larger than average grocery selection. Late a night you can’t enter the store so the attendant will have to grab what you want from the shop. Fresh fruit, bread, veggies and other grocery selections make it more than your usual petrol station fare.

Extremely handy resource for the Woodlands community, the opening of this above-average Sainsbury’s Local has been a huge benefit for an area entirely devoid of supermarket options. As well as the impressive range of food and drink, it has also brought the first free-to-use ATM to Woodlands Road, which is particularly useful for those who are heading to Sauchiehall Street and wish to avoid the queues there.

Unlike the average petrol station, this is the perfect pit-stop for those living, working or studying in and around Glasgow’s west end. As well as the expected offerings of fuel, fags and flowers, this place also offers a large range of Sainsburys products, with the best deals and special offers situated near the door as you walk in. When I popped in here today I was amused to see the cheerful staff sporting Santa hats as they worked, smiling and serving speedily as the large queue moved quickly. The staff here are always friendly and happy to help and seeming to be getting into the Christmas spirit on this particularly cold December day in Glasgow. This is the ideal place to pop into for anything from petrol, a paper, a pint of milk, to a full supermarket shop.

A saving grace when you need to do a little shop on the way home. Convenient, and has an army of checkout tills to reduce queues at busy rush hours. It’s stocked with a good selection of foods — far above the average corner shop — even pizza bases can be bought here, which was great when I was ordered to buy pizza supplies last minute for a make-your-own pizza night. Makes parking simple too when it’s got a drive in petrol station attached! Not overpriced either. All in all — pretty darn good.
