I only popped into to buy flowers. I settled on a potted Orchid, beautiful and appeared in good condition priced £15 which given it’s size I thought was reasonable. In general I find the staff in this store lovely, except the security guard who can appear rather austere. However, today he helped me get the plant down and bagged. I even coaxed a smile. Love great customer service.

The Drumchapel branch of this supermarket was my local Sainsbury’s for years until I moved home and began to shop at the Partick branch.
Boy did I miss Sainsbury’s Drumchapel. It was much bigger, cleaner and the staff were more attentive. The shelves were stacked tidily and the café sold the most delicious hot chocolate. You don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone.
A board at the front of the shops is filled with photos from the «Make a Difference» campaign detailing the work the supermarket does to benefit the Drumchapel community.
