Scobbie & Paton Butchers

This is by far the best butchers in town. They have 2 shops in Cumbernauld, one in the Town Centre, the other in Abronhill Shopping Centre. The steak pies, which they make themselves are to die for. I’ve shopped with them for the last five years and find them plesant, cheerful and always full of fun. The prices are great too — far cheaper than the supermarket. Also, its local boys so you are supporting the area. Definitely worth shopping here.

The shop has a good variety of fresh meat which I am told is very tasty. (I am a veggie but shop here for my family) They also carry a selection of cooked meats as well as offering a section of prepacked foods such as sausages, chicken potions, mixed grill etc which are good value at 3 for £5.
The shop is bright and clean and remakably does not smell as bad as other butchers (I usualy cant go in to butchers because I hate the smell so much). I am told that the sausages are delicious. The staff are helpfull, friendly and welcoming.
