I’ve not been here in about over a decade, it used to be a tiny wee entrance up a close in King Street. Wow what a change nowadays. The entrance is now round the corner through Trongate 103, which is the entrance to many other art related businesses and a Russian restaurant. I used to do photography at college, this was before digital I’ll have you know. Eep showing my age! The days when I used to use film and develop them myself. Skill or what?! Well I used to visit here to get some inspiration for projects and it was a different kinda day out as well. My man also into photography is working backwards from me. He started and taught himself how to shoot on digital but wants to learn film and how to develop the photos himself. He’s been looking up online places that have courses and a dark room. Unfortunately the courses at Metropolitian College(City of Glasgow) don’t start until August so he came across Street Level. He suggested popping in to see if they had anymore information. He’s already checked out the website but just wanted to have a wee chat with someone. I was well up for going so I enjoyed walking around the exhibits, some still as weird as they were back when I used to go but interesting. The girl at the reception was lovely and very helpful so my man is looking forward to joining up and to start developing his own photos. I can’t wait to see the results.
