This is an excellent shop for women’s workout gear or indeed super comfy lounge wear! Visually the clothes are fantastic with lots of bright colours and patterns, I particularly love that they do tshirts, racer tops, sports bra in the same style but a variety of colours to choose from. But it’s definitely not just about looking good, the clothes are excellent quality. The best I’ve ever tried. There yoga clothing is the only brand I’ve worn that has the comfort and flexibility you need for the bending and poses, yet it stays put. Nothing is worse than the feeling of your clothes constantly moving /sliding around as you are trying to focus on your workout. The staff are just lovely, how you wish all shop staff would be — genuinely friendly and happy to help. They got me signed up for a Sweaty Betty card to get me a further 10% off sale prices the last time I was in. TOPTIP: their sales are AWESOME! Yes there are items in the store that are expensive but for me it’s worth it and depends how you want your gym kit to perform. I also think that there are plenty of competatively priced items — such as some of their core gym tees and sports bras. Keep being awesome Sweaty Betty!

I really like this shop, I have visited twice and browsed online to see their range, only recently discovering that they had a Glasgow store. The pricing of the shop is a little on the expensive side, but this is what you expect from a branded store which is popular and fashionable. The staff were so friendly and helpful, it is quite a small store but they smiled and said hello when I came in, left me to browse on my own and asked if they could help when I had browsed a few things. I did see quite a few things which I fancied, but they did not have the larger size in a few of them. I knew from looking online that they did do slightly bigger sizes, so I asked about that and it turns out they have more stock in the storeroom, so you can get sizes XXS to XL, and if they do not have it in stock you can order it there and then, get it delivered to store at no cost, try it on in store and buy or exchange it. Handy. I bought a winter hoodie, which will be great for popping out to the gym and also for running in the colder weather. I was delighted that it fit, it also said«buy me»! There seems to be a genuine sense of community around the store, the company has its own lifestyle blog and social media profiles and the Glasgow branch have their own Facebook page and(free!) in store classes and are about to set up a running club. Can’t wait to try them out(hope they don’t mind if I don’t wear all Sweaty Betty clothes, I would need to save up, and tone up to make that one happen!).

You know those moments. — You make a delicious lunch for work and leave it on the counter. — You realise you’ve left your purse at home when you reach the self scan counter at the supermarket. — You forget to save a document and lose EVERYTHING. GOSHDAMNIT, tell me I’m not the only one. I have these moments on a daily basis. At work, at home, EVERYWHERE. Yes, I do have a Little Miss Scatterbrain mug at home proclaiming my sheer silliness. My place of work is an especially interesting place to be as my assistant manager is exactly the same as me. And so we named these brain lapse moments. — These moments, they are DOH moments, and they make up a very large part of my existence. So, it won’t surprise you to learn that on the day I was headed to the Unilocal Obstacle Course event, I forgot my socks. — Sweaty Betty saved me big time in the form of sale socks; bright, comfy socks and cheap. Considering that I hadn’t intended to buy socks, I was chuffed with my one lovely pair. The lady who served me was really friendly and helpful, signing me up for the free store card which gets you an additional ten percent off any sale items. So, yes indeed, my socks were even cheaper than their reduced price. I also found out that they offer free in-store fitness classes. — If I lived closer, i’d definitely take advantage of this. The only thing that would put me off shopping here is that it’s a wee bit expensive for what you get, but if there’s a sale I’d be very tempted to pop in for a look. The service certainly won me over, I’ll sure be back for a browse.

Hi, I’m Fiona and I’m a gym addict. There I said it, although my daily gym check-ins probably gives this away. Sweaty Betty is a haven for me, so many gorgeous clothes and colours and stuff I would happily wear shopping or to lunch post gym. Confession, I’ve never bought clothes from here. But knowing friends who have, the stuff is great quality.(I’m just waiting for pay-day, and a sale is currently on, so will make a purchase soon and re-review.) I visited here thanks to Denise telling me about an event to do with nutrition and sport, also sponsored by Juice Warrior and Healthy Nibbles. The staff from all companies were great, but the lady from Sweaty Betty who had a PhD in Nutrition led the talk and was so honest. It’s lovely to see a brand have passionate employees who were all forms of gym-goers, from runners, to yogis. They also offer free circuit classes, yoga, and runs. Just check on the blackboard beside the changing room.

They have some seriously lovely stuff but I’m not sure I can completely convert from my Lululemon addiction. I’ve bought a pair of leggings from this very petite storefront. The leggings are nice but I’m not sure I can commit. I did see a nice long sleeve merino wool top that I might go back for. They also have some lovely bamboo fabric they are using-so soft.

I used to exercise a lot, then I stopped, and now I need some motivation to get back into it. I don’t know about you, but for me I am(solely) motivated by purchasing pretty new exercise clothes, which is how I ended up taking a detour into Sweaty Betty one Friday afternoon. First things first — this shop is baltic hot roasting warm. I guess it’s called Sweaty Betty for a reason. I felt like I’d done a class of Bikram Yoga by the time I left, and that was just from having a browse. Now, onto the clothes. These aren’t your dull, uninteresting workout clothes. They’re bright, colourful, stylish and very drool-worthy. They also sell sneakers, workout accessories like running gloves and yoga mats. The downside is the price — you aren’t talking cheap stuff here, as a pair of leggings will set you back around anywhere between £40 — £90. I got chatting to the staff members who are possibly the friendliest people on the planet and they told me about the free fitness classes offered in-store. Free, you say — that sounds like my kind of thing. There’s yoga, HIIT and a special class called Fly, Flex, Flow which they are just doing for a few weeks. To get into these classes you need a Sweaty Betty card(free) and you sign up online. I’m definitely going to give one a try and then treat myself to some shiny new leggings as a reward.
