If you find yourself starving and in Central Station, the answer is nachos at Taco Mazama. Gluten free corn chips provide the base for one of the most massive piles of deliciousness I’ve ever seen. I barely made a dent in this thing.

I love Mexican food and I really don’t need an excuse to have a burrito. The fact this is situated beside my work and does a staff discount to my office adds to the experience. I’ve never been disappointed with my lunch and I am always left with that«clearly I’ve ate too much» feeling. The free bag of nacho chips is a nice touch to your meal deal.

Stopped in here one day with my babe, before heading out of town to meet some friends for a cheesecake/chili cookoff booze fest.(don’t ask). He had never had Taco Mazama, but is a fan of Pinto, so I figured we should stop in, at least for comparisons sake. When I first moved to Glasgow, ages ago, Taco Mazama was new and only had one location on Byres Road in Glasgow. I think I may have tried it once, excited to find Mexican food in Glasgow, but broken hearted because it was plain awful. The beans were dry, the rice tasteless. Needless to say, I was sad. Fast forward to now, new locations, new lease of life with Mexican food and voila! you have a much tastier, much fresher version of the drab beginning which was Taco Mazama. I’m telling you, I can eat a burrito any day of the week, and will as long as I can get one here! The ingredients are fresh and seasoned perfectly. The rice and beans are perfection and it saves me grief when I’m too lazy to cook Mexican food– I can run in quick if I’m near a location and get a crackin’ meal deal! I think my boyfriend enjoyed his taste of Taco Mazam and we will be back for sure.

I love burritos, and so it won’t shock you that I’ve been to Taco Maz a number of times! In my opinion this branch isn’t quite as good as the one on Renfield Street(and has fewer options) but it still serves up a very filling and tasty burrito. Definitely a healthier option for the late night post-beer hunger pangs than the typical Glaswegian way of soaking up booze(deep fried kebab anyone?)!

I love the food at Taco Mazama and always come every time I’m in Glasgow for work! I’ve tried lots of burritos around the country but the food here always tastes really fresh and authentic. Never been dissapointed and wish I lived closer!
