Tannochside Olde Club

Now, sometimes in life, we end up in bars that we really shouldn’t be in and if we were presented with the idea of going to them we wouldn’t even consider it. This is one of those occasions.
My boyfriend had a meeting in this bar and I popped in to meet him once he was finished in it. I swear I thought that I’d entered a set for Peter Kay’s Pheonix Nights. All I was waiting to see was the owner himself wheeling in like Ironside — it didn’t happen sadly.
Essentially, this is a social club. The beer is cheap. If you were from around these parts then it’s the perfect place for guys to get together for some beers, the football and some pool. There’s not too much need for a Cosmo girl like me. Through the back (where my man had his meeting), there is a very well turned out function suite that would be nice for a birthday party event or something of that ilk.
As for this becoming a local, I don’t think that would ever happen for a girlie like me, so I’ll leave this place to the boys.

This is a social club where many events take place .Ive been to many parties in the upstairs lounge which is of a great size and where the drinks are very reasonable but would mabye benifit from a make over.
