This store is pretty big for a Tesco metro. It also has a lot of stuff and good variety, though less affordable than some other local supermarkets.

This store seems to have all the ‘essentials’ as well as things which are handy for ‘on way home for work– need quick shop’(and treats). The in store bakery seems to have a large selection for a small store, and the fruit and vegetable range is quite big too. If you go after 6pm they seem to have a lot of reduced bargains; handy if you are not too fussed what you would like for dinner that evening!

This is the best Tesco in the city centre, its a decent size and well stocked and I love that they sell the caster sugar in 2k bags(im a baker). They have a great range of fruit/veg/baked goods/cereals and booze. Its a great location and it worth the slightly longer walk to get everything that I need.

Good to buy ingredients rather than ready foods: has a handy lift into the store from the Mall.

Oh wait… I’ve been here! Is it just me, or are Tesco slowly taking over the world? Ok, so convinence is king when it come to shopping and with this place located right next to the tube, it’s taking full advantage of the underground commuting masses. Given it’s larger size to the in town express units, this place feels like it has more to offer and certainly does when comes to the beer dept! I have a smaller one closer to the homestead, but the beer selection is poor and by poor I mean nae Brewdog or similar craft beerage. This place has it all. Win. it’s handy, well stocked, easy to negotiate. Done.

I’m with Andrew – this is a really nice Tesco Metro. It’s clean, has friendly staff, and contains a very good selection of merch for a Metro-size store. Unless I miss my guess, there’s a bakery in-store, seeing as the whole place was pleasantly fragrant with the scent of pie this afternoon. Honestly, I’d say if you’re near Central Station, it’s worth a short walk to pick something up here rather than the cramped Somerfield across from the station itself. And if you’re in Merchant City, well, nothing else for it. Of course, how long the tidiness will last remains to be seen. Go while it’s still worth it!
