Valley Kennels & Cattery

I can’t believe I am going to be the first person to review this place considering they have no vacancies frequently and in my opinion are one of the better kennels in the Glasgow area. I have tried a few others before I used Valley Kennels and Cattery and let’s just say I didn’t need to look any further after I came here. Make sure to book popular holiday times well in advance for this kennel because they are booked-​out regularly.
It is on the outskirts of Milngavie in a beautiful farm area with plenty of space to walk all the dogs. The staff are very friendly, and I appreciate after only using them twice, everybody knows who Brando is when I call to book a stay. This is definitely not a dog hotel, but it is a very good kennel with lots of staff to take care of the dogs, and heaters for the cold weather up here in the North. Rates are £14 a night with a choice of dog foods and feeding schedules; heating during the cold weather is, I believe, around £1.50 extra a night. I always bring extra treats for them to give Brando and his toys, when I come back the treats are all gone and the toys returned, which is the way it should be. I once even left a leash there and they returned it to me a month later when I was bringing Brando in for a weekend stay.
Not sure what else to say other than your furry friends will be well loved here while you are away.
