I like this hotel chain
Well designed, well laid out, clean, modern, artful
Team here are very polite and some of the better out the other village hotels

I know the village urban resort because I go to the gym there and it’s fabulous. The classes are awesome and not crowded at all, the pool is dreamy especially at night.
I’m not a big fan of machines usually but gave the treadmill a go, and you can actually pick a «place to run» on the screen. I picked a lake side, and as you run the screen takes you around the lake. Très très cool. I was so focused to overtake the wee dog running in front of me (I got really involved in that thing) that I ended up running 20 minutes which is a lot for me lazy thing.
…oh and the changing rooms have GHDs.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Chose an upper deck room to try as this had a bath and Starbucks coffee. It views of the Hydro and West end skyline, very pleasing. Comfy room and very big, with huge TV. Toiletries are all branded with «v» (for village?) and you get a tea tray with Tazo tea and Starbucks Via instant coffee (no biscuit though!). We booked online which meant free use of the gym and pool, these are brand new and spacious with lots of facilities.
