I was recently at CCA for a lunch meeting and on the way out I remembered how great the gift shop was. I had been really slack with my Christmas shopping — I’d got everything I needed for my Glasgow friends & family but forgotten the Aussies (as usual). This shop has the perfect range of gifts if you’re looking for interesting, quirky gifts for friends. There is a great range of jewellery — a lot of it I’d like for myself — plus nice wee notebooks, coasters, wall decorations, cushions and a whole lot more. I picked up a great present for my best friend back in Australia, a locally made gift by a former student of the GSA. I won’t say what it was as it is still winging it’s way over the seas but it was a great buy and something I would love for myself! I also picked up a wee paper bunting of Merry Christmas for home décor. With super helpful and friendly staff, this is a gift shop worth making a trip to visit — and there’s delicious food right next door at the CCA.
