Any time I’m up in Newtonabbey, in the far depths of deepest North Belfast, my friends always want to order from Pappa’s Kitchen. Personally I’ve no idea why. The food is ok, I’ve never really had a problem with it. In fact, I quite enjoy their pizza’s(although sometimes there’s way to much cheese on them). The place its self isn’t very pleasant to be in. It hasn’t been redecorated in quite some time and the staff are always loud and tend to ignore the fact that customers are there at all. It’s an ok place, which has an unusual amount of loyal customers which might know something that I don’t, but I’m not to fussed about finding out what!

My dad likes to go to this place, but im not really sure why. In Belfast where there is so many good takeaways to avail of, this place really just does not cut it. The food is not of a very high quality, but they do try to make up for that. The offer that they have going for a very long time is buy one burger, and get a free burger. So if your just really hungry and pretty broke, then this might just be the place for you. However as it’s situated in Glengormley’s takeaway centre, there is probably somewhere a lot better close by. They do delivery for anything over £10 for free, and they are on the website which makes them pretty convenient. I cant say that I have ever had a particularily bad experience in the place, just generally many forgettable ones. They do an ok kebab for £3.50, which would probably taste a lot better if you were just stumbling out of a pub late a t night.
