One of the darkest and most cramped shops that I have ever been into! It’s a typical convenience store, selling everything from lunchtime sandwiches to tinned fruit and sticking plasters. There is no room to queue at the tills and the staff are quite abrupt. There is often boxes blocking the aisles too — so prepare yourself for a little obstacle course. You will never be able to navigate this shop if you have a wheelchair or a pushchair. It is open until late(10pm, I think) so it’s great if you’ve run out of milk or bread for breakfast, and it’s handy for sweets/drinks on a rugby day. Outside of those scenarios, I wouldn’t entertain the idea of shopping here, as it is quite claustrophobic. They do accept credit cards though, and you can play the lottery in this shop too.
