Brockworth Primary School

My daughter has recently started at this school, having attended the pre-​school for almost two years. I can’t fault it at all — she is absolutely loving it. She can’t wait to get there each day. When we first moved to this area in 2006 I heard a lot about what a dreadful reputation the school had, and I was worried about sending my children there. However, having read the Ofsted report, spoken to local parents and toured the school for myself, I don’t think there’s any truth in the rumours at all. If this was once a failing school it has been very successfully turned around. The children all seem very happy and there’s always lots going on. I am 100% happy with my decision to send my daughter there.

Really lovely community school, warm caring teachers keen to develop the children. Very consistent school which has served the community for many years and has benefitted from huge building improvements in recent years. It has a huge field for the children to run around on and also a large tarmac play area. The school has a very well run pre school which prepares children of around 2.5 — 3 ready to start school, it gives them great social skills and teaches them through play.
