Gloucester has got quite a few Restaurants, but they are of the meat and chips variety which is nice. Sometimes though you want something just a little more special and this place fits the bill nicely. Set in one of the old building of Gloucester, the inside is all beams and brickwork which is nice. Tables are close, but not close enough for any avidly nosey people to eavesdrop. Food is yummy and well served. Waiter was pleasant and not in your face which is a pet peeve. Was well knowledgeable about wines and recommended a very nice wine that Mr. Datcat and I managed to polish off quite happily. Prices are quite reasonable and we went home after well fed and happy so what more could you ask for. No parking on site, but there are a couple of parking places very nearby.
