For everyday shopping then the Mall is great. You can park up on the top (pay on exit so remember to have money on you) and take the lift down. The Mall is on 2 levels and is home to a variety of shops including the inside market, there is a food court where you can get hot or cold food and toilet facilities which can be busy at times but are always clean and tidy. They sometimes have various activities going on throughout the year and hold a lovely grotto at christmas time.
There are various exits from the Mall which will lead you onto certain areas of the Cross enabling you to further explore Gloucester.

I don’t often go to Gloucester city centre as I prefer to go just up the road to Bristol. (cribbs causeway)
The mall has a small food court which is fairly clean although they are quite limited in what they serve (chips and something)
Not bad coffee, but you can get the same in the woolworths café and for a bit cheaper.
Easy access to all shops and it has the usual Disabled Facilities although I really think they should have a full time attendent in at least the ladies.
The ownly downside is the parking. Make sure you take plenty of change as the car park is run by ncp and the prices are dear.
You will also find your car changes colour to a dirty grey/white due to our resident seagulls.
