Avoid unless you like bad beer and greasy food.

A very nice country pub that has the added bonus of having 3 well stocked lakes for the person that loves to fish (to each their own) Mr Datcat was very taken with the real ales they serve here and managed to put away a fair few in the name of quality control for Qype. Food is served which looked very nice and plates were emptied so that’s always a good sign. It does look like the traditional country pub with lots of beams and a real fire in the winter. It is easy to get to if driving being on the A417, but you will need a designated driver unless you want to fork out for a taxi.
There is also accommodation attached, but I have no idea what this is like having never stayed there however other reviews are pretty ok (
). Not sure if family friendly, but for adults a very nice place for a quiet drink
